Cassie
Cassie manages the Birmingham Institute of Plastic Surgery. She takes great pride in running an office that is professional, responsive and friendly. Her straightforward and personable demeanor has contributed greatly to the happiness of our patients and the success of our practice. She earned a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Michigan.
Charlene
Charlene joined the practice in 1994 and manages the Orchid Day MedSpa. Her specialties include facials, massages, microdermabrasion, chemical peels, laser hair removal and waxing. Charlene's outgoing personality makes clients feel comfortable, and her passion for inner and outer beauty guides her holistic approach to care. She attended the Michigan College of Beauty and has received extensive training in all of the Spa's products and services.
Laurie
As surgical coordinator, Laurie is a familiar, friendly face to our Detroit, Michigan plastic surgery patients. From your initial visit through your follow-up consultation, Laurie is the go-to resource for all questions related to fees, schedules and procedures. Her genuine interest in people coupled with a wonderful sense of humor puts patients at ease instantly. Laurie is a licensed practical nurse and has an associate's degree in liberal arts and a bachelor's degree in communication arts.
Kelly
Kelly is the practice's nurse, and she is responsible for pre- and post-op education, post-op suture removal and Botox and filler injections. Her soft-spoken, down-to-earth nature makes Kelly a favorite among patients who rely on her skill as much as they appreciate her warm, bedside manner. She has a bachelor's degree in nursing and is certified in injections.
Amanda
Amanda's skill at multi-tasking is a perfect fit for her dual responsibilities as medical aesthetician for the Orchid Day MedSpa and receptionist for the Birmingham Institute of Plastic Surgery. Her love of the beauty industry and enthusiasm for the excellent care our patients and clients receive is contagious. She is a licensed aesthetician with certification in chemical peels, microdermabrasion, laser skin rejuvenation and medical-grade skin care lines.
Jamie
Jamie manages the practice's reception desk and is responsible for greeting patients, scheduling appointments and discussing payment and insurance options. She takes great pride in keeping the front desk running smoothly so patients are greeted promptly and are seen at their scheduled appointment times. She is equal parts warm, funny and business-oriented.
Geri
Geri joined the Orchid Day MedSpa in 2002. With 29 years experience in hand and foot therapy, it's safe to say that Geri provides a level of service that is lightyears beyond a traditional mani/pedi. Not only do her clients leave with beautiful hands and feet, but they experience a deep relaxation that resets their frame of mind and renews their energy. Geri is certified in reflexology.
Lana
Lana is a licensed practical nurse and certified aesthetician who performs laser treatments and medical skin care. Her specialties include laser hair removal, chemical peels, Vi Peels and microdermabrasion. Since joining the Orchid Day MedSpa in 2007, Lana has helped hundreds of men and women feel beautiful in their own skin. She loves it when clients tell her they're receiving compliments on their skin for the first time in their lives.
Rhonda
Since 2007, Rhonda has provided Orchid Day MedSpa clients with a relaxing experience through massage therapy, manicures, pedicures and permanent makeup. In addition, she is a certified aesthetician who specializes in the Spa's skin rejuvenation techniques. Her trustworthy and nurturing personality allows her to connect with clients on a personal level and help them achieve their beauty goals. She received her training from Anthony's Beauty School and the Healing Arts School.
Carol
Carol has embraced a holistic lifestyle for 25 years, which she incorporates into her massage therapy technique at the Orchid Day MedSpa. She helps her clients draw a mind-body connection so they can alter the habits, behaviors and stresses that can lead to chronic pain. She is a graduate of Irene's Myomassology Institute in Michigan.
Suhad
Suhad joined the Orchid Day MedSpa in 2007 after moving to Michigan from California. She performs permanent makeup, scar camouflage and areola tattooing for women who have had breast reconstruction. Suhad's loyal clients rely on her expertise as well as her warm, compassionate ways. She earned a degree in biochemistry from the University of Lebanon and is a licensed cosmetologist.
Judy
Judy manages the billing department and enjoys helping patients understand their insurance benefits. She is responsible for pre-authorization, billing, patient reimbursement and claims verification. Her excellent listening and problem-solving skills are perfectly suited to navigating the sometimes- complicated waters of insurance coverage. She has multiple degrees including an associate's in medical assisting and a bachelor's in business leadership.
